How can May be over already? It's hard to believe that June is just 2 days away, with graduation right around the corner. A few of us here at Sonoma Art Works will be seeing our children to the end of their school days next month, and out into the world of college and real life. It's an emotional time, yet a happy time.

Speaking of graduation, are you prepared for the graduation gift buying frenzy that is about to begin? If you find yourself short on lovely necklaces and earrings for those hard working students, give us a call and we'll help you out with some sure-to-sell pieces.

Our teens aren't the only ones about to be released this summer. We're working hard getting our newest designs ready for take-off. Some of you may have seen some of our newly released collections at the ACRE show earlier this month. The show went very well, and the new designs were a hit! Lovely, very feminine new details with subtle colors and new stones. One of our favorite new designs is pictured above, shown with a classic mabe pearl. Pearl is also the birthstone for June, so again, if you need stock just let us know. This is just one of our newest looks, with more coming in July.

New stone Tanzanite CZ has been a total success! It's flying out of here like crazy, and we're hearing the same reports from all of our accounts. It's a favorite around here and you can see why. It's beautiful!

Mother's Day and the Brand New ACRE Show

Spring is in the air. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and new life abounds. Here at Sonoma Art Works, we're gearing up for a brand new show next month, where we'll be introducing some new designs with a totally different look and feel. Inspired by the new growth on the vines here in the wine country, Cheryl has designed new collections that reflect the delicacy of climbing tendrils, and the hearty texture of the old vines. Continuing the use of our favorite, best-selling gemstones, these groupings are sure to be a hit. (Images coming soon)

Have you been looking for an excuse to go to Las Vegas? You've got it. It's a brand new craft show, put on by the amazing people at Wholesalecrafts.com. The American Craft Retailers Expo (ACRE) begins Wednesday, May 2nd through Friday May 4th, at the Las Vegas convention center, and we're pretty excited about it. Make your reservations today, and stop by to see us in booth #103.

Mother's Day reminder- Jewelry is the most popular Mother's Day gift, so if you find you need more colorful, beautiful inventory, please get us your orders by April 17th. We'll make sure you have a lovely selection in time for your thoughtful shoppers.

Welcome to our new blog!

Hello! Welcome to our first posting on the first Sonoma Art Works blog. We're pretty excited about catching up with technology and improving our communications. There's a whole new world out there!

If you've gotten this far, you've more than likely noticed our new website. There are some great new features that we're pretty excited about!
Have you ever wished you could place an order with us just by clicking a button? Well, now you can. We've added an order form where you can place your wholesale orders simply by clicking a few check boxes. (You'll need a password)
We'll custom assort our tried and true, known best-sellers that are guaranteed to sell, or you can write your own order by using our comment box. Of course you can still call us (we love talking to you) or fax your order in. We're aiming for total customer satisfaction, so whatever works for you, works for us. We want to make ordering as easy as possible for you.

We've also added style numbers and pricing information below each image of jewelry shown on the site. Now you'll know at a glance how to order that stunning Sea Blue Chalcedony earring you saw!
You can now view our entire catalog on-line instead of waiting for it to arrive by mail. Be sure to check out our newest Spring designs on Supplement A, as well as the new and exciting stones we've introduced, beautiful Paraiba Topaz and stunning Tanzanite CZ. Look for them on Supplement B.
